MENU:  MARCH LUNCH MENU  - As of 3/10 there will no caesar salad available at lunches.

After school Reading and Math programs. Starting the first week of February, the school district will again be sponsoring an intensive effort to provide reading and math instruction for students that qualify.  Identified students will receive two and a half hours of special small group instructions from 2:50 PM  - 5:20 PM and will then go home on the late bus.  Letters have already gone home to those students. This program will run to the last week in March.

March 12, 2010 - The PTA will be sponsoring an assembly for the students during school hours titled the "The Brain Show"

Mrs. Ferraro's fifth grade class will hold a Reader's Tea on March 23, 2010 during the school day.

Annual - ST. Patrick's Day Kids Dance - All kids grades 1-5 welcome - Date: Friday, March 12, 2010  Time: 6-8 PM  Place: Wallenpaupack North Intermediate Gym  Admission: $5.00 (includes chance to win a Webkinz) Great DJ, face painting and prizes, Hot dogs, snacks and drinks available at an additional charge. Chaperons will be in attendance; parents welcome to stay.  All proceeds to benefit Jr. Buckhorn Football and Cheerleading

Annual Tricky Tray - Free Admission  Date: Saturday, March 27, 2010  Time: Doors open at Noon - calling at 1:30 PM  Place: Wallenpaupack North Primary Gym - Refreshments Available: Tickets sheets $5.00 ea. (25 tickets per sheet) Trays include cooking baskets, spa baskets, kids baskets, gift certificates, car wash vouchers, Webkinz, and more.  Available: Door prizes, 50/50 - $1.00 each and Jumbo Table which includes 4 Club Box seats to a Philadelphia Flyers Hockey game a Wachovia Arena w/reserved parking, dinner and show combo at local resort, overnight stay, Bike, and more! Jumbo tickets $1.00 each.  All proceeds to Benefit Wallenpaupack Jr. Buckhorns

Jr. Buckhorn Football and Cheerleading SIGNUPS - This is the only sign-up for the 2010 season - All new and returning players/cheerleaders should attend registration - is first come first serve - space is limited.  Place: Wallenpaupack North Primary School   Date and Time:  Tuesday, March 30, 2010 - 6:00 PM  Mandatory meeting for all parents begins at 6:00 PM with registration immediately following  -- Registration $80 = ($60.00 + $20.00 mandatory fundraiser - book of raffle tickets) Discounts given for 3 or more registrations within a family.  Flag football (5yrs and under) registration will also take place on March 30, 2010 at 6 PM -- Flag registration = $40

PTA Family Fun Night FREE BINGO in the Intermediate School Cafeteria on March 4th.  Games start at 6pm.  At the door we will be collecting non-perishable food items to help local food pantries replenish their shelves.

Important - Please be aware that the official opening of school is 7:50 AM with classes starting at 8:15 AM.           If you choose to drive your child to school, please try to drop your child off NO EARLIER than 7:50 AM. Also,    please be aware that children arriving after 8:10 AM are marked tardy.     

Student Absences 
To report a student absent, between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m.--

Please include:  your name, student's name, date and reason for absence.
If you have children in more than one building, each building must be contacted.
