Attendance To report a student absent, between 7:30 and 8:30 am
Please include: your name, the student's name, the date and the reason for absence. If you have children in more than one building, each building must be contacted. For more information, please see Parent/Student Handbook.
Important - Please be aware that the official opening of school is 7:50 am with classes starting at 8:15 am. If you choose to drive your child to school, please try to drop your child off NO EARLIER than 7:50 am. Also, please be aware that children arriving after 8:00 am are marked tardy.

Student Pickups If you are going to pick up a student from school early for an appointment or at dismissal time you must send a note with your child. If someone else is picking up your child, please state so in note. If we do not have a note, the student will be placed on their bus home. You will also need a photo ID when picking up a student. This is being done for the protection of our students and your children.

Third Grade Program The Third Grade Class of WNIS will present "How To Be A Pirate" on Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 at 6 pm at the Intermediate School Gym. (Snow Date is Wednesday, February 15th) Students will also perform for the 4th and 5th grade at 9 am on that morning. In this show, students take direction from the First Mate & Captain to learn the ways of being a pirate. Loriann Kerber is the choral director. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend. Valentine's Day Dance Friday, February 10th from 6 pm - 8 pm at the North Primary Gym. 1st Grade throught 4th Grade. Music, Food, Games, Prizes and Lots of Fun! $5.00 Admission Fee

WANES PTA Spiritwear Sale: The WANES PTA Spiritwear Sale will be running From Friday, February 3rd to Friday, February 17th. Order forms are sent home with students on February 3rd. Artsonia The North Intermediate School will again be participating in Artsonia - the2 world's largest online art gallery. The web address is www.artsonia.com. Parents and grandparents may view their student's artwork and purchase items with their student's artwork printed on it, if desired.

Cheerleading Clinic There will be a Cheerleading Clinic for ages 6 to 14 at All Star Cheer Acadamy in Jessup, PA. The clinic will be held on March 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th and the cost is $50.00. For further information call 963-6764
